Hear to Slay Podcast Art

Hear to Slay is a black feminist podcast with acclaimed author and speaker Roxane Gay and MacArthur Genius and writer Tressie McMillan Cottam. They have amazing guests like Stacy Abrams, Ava DuVernay and Gabrielle Union to discuss the world we live in and the popular culture we consume.

Their podcast art needed an updated look and feel that reflected the energy and vibe of their show. I worked with the Luminary branding team to create a hand-lettered logo and flowing paint motif that served as the main visual elements. Then we built out a show brand with social assets, paid advertising and key art that helped to elevate their unique voices.
