The C-Word Podcast

The C-Word is hosted by Lena Dunham and Alissa Bennett. With each episode, they take you on a historical deep-dive into the life of a woman society dismissed by calling her mad, sad, or just plain bad. The show is a  rich, hilarious, and heartbreaking look into exactly what it means when we call a woman “crazy”.

Their original concept was to create a tabloid-looking cover, hinting at the way many of these notorious women have gotten press coverage. They needed a creative refresh to convey this idea more clearly and so we made an "US Weekly" version of a show tile, complete with bold headlines, paparazzi photos and a bar code.

Social Assets

For every episode we created promotional illustrations to post on organic social channels. Each graphic features a symbolic object of the "mad, sad, or just plain bad" women that Lena and Alissa feature each week. These were for the hosts and production partners to share on their own accounts.
