British Villains

Produced by Ninth Planet Audio & The Cut, British Villains tells the story of the Great Robbery of 1963. The thieves called the job the train, the papers called it the Great Train Robbery, and the police called it the crime of the century. How the villains pulled it off— that’s a story that’s never been told. At least not the way host William Green tells it, because he has access to perhaps the last surviving man who may or may not have been involved: His dad. Keeping in theme with the mid-century-mystery subject matter, I created hand lettering in the style of Saul Bass and Alfred Hitchcock and worked with creative agency Lord Danger to create the illustrations.
