The College Tapes

The College Tapes is the second spin-off series to The Bright Sessions, a narrative podcast with a young adult audience. It follows Caleb Michaels and Adam Hayes, main characters of the original series, attempting to solve an "Atypical" conspiracy during their senior year of college. The creator and author, Lauren Shippen has built an entire story and universe around this couple with sci-fi and social justice themes. Episodes were all released in real time as the story unfolded. For the key art, they needed a treatment that spoke to a slightly older audience than previous work. Since some key plot elements revolved around a library, I used the spine of books to layout the title treatment. This built out to email, social and a paid media campaign to promote the series.
